The MS Society has received independent confirmation from Data Analysis Australia that with 100,000 tickets and 4,002 prizes in total, there is a 1 in 25 chance of winning a prize - assuming all tickets are sold. If the MS Mega Home Lottery does not sell all 100,000 tickets then your odds of winning a prize improve.
Note: Each ticket purchased before Bonus Prize ticket sales close is eligible for the Bonus Prize draw, the Early Bird Prize draw and the remaining 4,000 prizes. Each ticket purchased before Early Bird ticket sales close is eligible for the Early Bird Prize draw and to win one of the other 4,000 prize draws. Tickets purchased after Early Bird ticket sales close are eligible to win one of the remaining 4,000 prizes on offer.
All 4,002 prizes have a combined retail value of $3,379,912.
*Only tickets purchased before midnight, Thursday, 19 March 2015, are eligible for the $50,000 cash Bonus Prize draw.
Only the Bonus Prize draw will be completed on Wednesday, 1 April 2015. The winning ticket for the Bonus Prize will be re-entered in the Early Bird Prize draw and is eligible to win the Early Bird Prize and one of the remaining 4,000 prizes.
On Wednesday, 1 April 2015, the name of the Bonus Prize winner will be available online at mslottery.com.au by 6pm that same day.
**Only tickets purchased before midnight, Thursday, 16 April 2015, are eligible for the Early Bird Prize draw.
If tickets remain after Early Bird sales close, only the Early Bird Prize draw would be completed on Wednesday, 29 April 2015. The winning ticket for the Early Bird Prize will be re-entered and is eligible to win one of the remaining 4,000 prizes.
If all tickets are sold before Midnight, Thursday, 16 April 2015, then all prize draws, except for the Bonus Prize, would be completed on Wednesday, 29 April 2015. In this case, the Early Bird Prize will be drawn first, followed by draws for all remaining 4,000 prizes in order of retail value beginning with prizes of greatest retail value. After each of the remaining 4,000 prize draws, the winner is recorded and the ticket number is then excluded from any further prize draws. Top valued prize draws may be televised.
If all prizes are drawn on Wednesday, 29 April 2015 then the names of all prize winners will be published and available online at mslottery.com.au by 6pm the same day.
If tickets remain after the Early Bird sales close then only the Early Bird Prize winner will be published and available online at mslottery.com.au by 6pm on Wednesday, 29 April 2015.
***Tickets purchased after the Early Bird Prize close and before the Final close at Midnight, Thursday, 14 May 2015, are eligible to win one of 4,000 prizes.
All prize draws would be conducted on Wednesday, 27 May 2015. Draws will proceed in order of retail value beginning with the prize of greatest retail value. After each prize draw, the winner is recorded and the ticket number is then excluded from any further prize draws.
If all prizes are drawn on Wednesday, 27 May 2015 then the names of all prize winners will be published and available online at mslottery.com.au by 6pm the same day.

The only winning tickets that are returned to the barrel are the Bonus Prize Winner and the Early Bird Prize Winner. The winning ticket from each subsequent draw is excluded from all further prize draws. We believe that this provides greater fairness and allows more people to win prizes in the lottery. This approach is approved by the Department of Racing Gaming and Liquor.
It is likely that the Early Bird Prize and Grand Prize draws will be held at the Grand Prize Show Home at 17 Seychelles Lane, Hillarys. The remaining prize draws, including the Bonus Prize will be conducted at the MS Society’s office at Level 2, 1133 Albany Highway, Bentley.
The MS Society’s auditors, RSM Bird Cameron Chartered Accountants will independently verify the completeness of tokens and fairness of draws. Representatives from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor will also be present to witness the prize draws.
All winners will be notified in writing, shortly after the prize draws have been completed. The winners of the Bonus Prize, Early Bird Prize and Grand Prize will receive a phone call from the MS Society shortly after the prize draws have been completed. Winners of the Bonus Prize and Early Bird Prize will be published at www.mslottery.com.au at 6pm on the day of the draw.
